Appreciating our classical Christian heritage and hungering for an ever vital experience of new life in Christ, Covenanters affirm three main evangelical emphases.

1. The Centrality of Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine, and conduct.

2. The Necessity of New Birth
We believe that a person can enter God's Kingdom only by His grace. We also stress that we must grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ for sound spiritual health.

3. The Church as a Fellowship of Believers
Membership at Bay Covenant is by personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is open to all who put their faith in Him and have been baptized.
